2011 Instructors 

Íñigo Serna, MA, is from Bilbao, the Basque Country (Spain) and finished Inigo Sernahis undergraduate studies at UPV (Basque Country Public University) in 1995 with a bachelor in Human Resources. He came to the United States in 2001 and graduated from the University of Idaho in May 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Spanish. He continued his studies at Washington State University and got his master's degree in Spanish Literature and Languages in May 2007. He is currently on the faculty of the Foreign Language Department at WSU, Pullman. He taught our Full Immersion Spanish Institute class in Moses Lake in 2008 and has been the Lead Instructor at the Full Immersion Spanish Institute in Wenatchee since 2009. 

    
          


Nan Cuevas, BA. Currently with the Eastmont School District, Nan has almost 25 years experience teaching Spanish to Nan Cuevas, Instructormany levels from kindergarten thru college level, She has instructed the advanced students for the Full Immersion Spanish Institute since 1999.  Mrs. Cuevas has a very solid background in understanding how to work effectively with individual adult learners in developing a useful working knowledge of Spanish language, culture and heritage. She is a certified Washington State Social Services Interpreter and our instructor for the FREE Monthly Workshops from September to May (Read more)

 

 

Ericka Duncan, MA.  From one of the most beautiful cities Ericka Duncanon the Caribbean, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.  Because the city’s emerging tourism industry, she finished  her undergraduate studies in Administration of Tourist Enterprises. She has worked for several years in research and teaching. She traveled to Spain where she got her M.A. degree from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in International Tourism.  Her area of interest is the link between literature, tourism, and culture.
