The WSU Chelan County Extension Urban Horticulture program is primarily intended to assist commercial enterprises, schools and others learn about the current research and knowledge to improve and/or maintain the beauty of their property.

Rocky Reach Arboretum

Urban Horticulture and the Chelan PUD work together to provide county residents and visitors a learning center to understand the variety of trees that will grow in this climate. The Rocky Reach Park Arboretum is located at the PUD's Rocky Reach Dam Visitors Center, located north of Wenatchee on the Columbia River. It provides visitors with a brochure describing a self-guided tour throughout the grounds.  View a brochure in a pdf . A printed copy also is available at the Extension Office.
