Six Steps to a Highly Effective Organization
- Is your organization not performing as productively as you would hope or expect?
- Is membership falling?
- Do you struggle to find or manage resources?
- Do members complain that meetings are boring?
- Does the group feel like it is going in too many directions or no direction at all?
WSU Ferry County Extension in partnership with Stevens County Extension is offering a six-part training to help your organization be more successful. The ‘Six Steps to a Highly Effective Organization’ is a ‘checkup’ for local organizations to help their leaders identify the group’s strengths and weaknesses, and then develop concrete steps to resolve these. It includes an individualized assessment survey of your group with results available only to your team, and in‐depth training on the skills necessary to improve the organization’s ability to achieve its goals, including effective decision‐making, leadership development, organizational structure and resource generation.
Cost: $0-50.00 donation (depending on ability to pay) per organization to send 2-4 board members or volunteers to be attached or sent to the Extension office made out to WSU Ferry County Extension to help cover food and materials.
