4-H Youth Development
4-H is the youth development program of the Washington State University and is a nationwide organization serving young people who are who are learning citizenship, leadership and life skills. 4-H is built upon the principles of developing belonging, mastery, generosity and independence. Youth, ages 9-19, participate in Washington through community clubs, after-school/school enrichment programs, and day/overnight camps. Programs and curriculum emphasize service, learning, healthy living, and science. 4-H programs are administered and coordinated by WSU educators in Garfield County

March- Rally Night
April- Garfield County Junior Show, Demonstration Day
May- Spokane Junior Livestock Show
June- 4-H Camp
September- Clean up day at the Fairgrounds, Garfield County Fair, Style Show
October-Record Books due for Judging, National 4-H Week, Final Deadline for Record Books
November- Achievement Night
