Washington State University Grant-Adams Area Extension serves Grant County and the irrigated portion of Adams County as designated by the Columbia Basin Reclamation project. We connect our clientele to the research and knowledge base of the state's land grant research university to provide solutions to local problems and stimulate local economies. Our county-based educators work with partners in your communities to provide educational programs and leverage the broad resources of a major university to resolve issues and create a positive future for the residents of Grant County.

Our local programs include an integrated pest monitoring project, designing new technologies to build competitive orchard systems, research in high residue farming, food animal quality and safety, youth development, food preservation, gardening advice, and diabetes education.
