Consumer Food Safety

WSU Pacific County Extension has trained faculty and staff to provide testing for Presto pressure canner gauges.  The National Presto Industries testing unit is used for dial gauges only.  The public may bring their lids or gauges in to be checked Monday-Friday.  WSU bulletin "Using and Caring for your Pressure Canner" is available when you have your gauge tested.

 

 

The Food Safety and Nutrition Education Program provides research-based food safety and nutrition information and public education. Our goal is to empower individuals and families to make lasting behavior changes that promote health and prevent disease.
