Broadband is proving increasingly essential to keeping communities and businesses connected and competitive in today's world. Many individuals, employers and communities need help to increase broadband awareness, access and adoption.
Local technology planning teams help to ensure more targeted infrastructure investment by telecommunication providers that will meet community interests and needs as well as lead to higher levels of adoption. Stronger Economies Together
Mid-Columbia Economic Development District, with support from many partners, applied to the US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development in 2011 to be a part of the Stronger Economies Together training program available in Washington State. MCEDD was one of two selected regions in the Northwest.
Stronger Economies Together (SET) is supported by US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development in partnership with the Washington State Extension offices.
