Gardening Questions?
WSU Master Gardener volunteers staff our question/answer clinic at the Thurston County Extension Office. Our trained volunteers help answer your gardening questions and/or identify plant problems for FREE. You can visit in person or contact us via e-mail or telephone.
Hours*:
March - October: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
November – February**: Tuesday & Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
*The clinic is closed on all holidays.
**The clinic is also closed from December 17, 2012 through January 13, 2013. The clinic will return to its winter schedule on January 14, 2013.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is best to call ahead before stopping by the clinic to make sure a WSU Master Gardener volunteer is available to help you.
Directions to the WSU Extension Office:
From I-5 take Hwy101 toward Shelton. Get off at the Evergreen State College/Evergreen Parkway exit (3rd exit from I-5). Once you exit the highway, keep right and follow the sign and ramp to Mud Bay Road. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Harrison Ave. and take an immediate right into our parking lot. Our office is located inside the old McLane Firehouse. We share space with Thurston County Parks and Recreation Departments.
